Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and talented SENIOR DIGITAL HARDWARE ENGINEER with extensive hands-on experience in wireless CPE board design. This position is involved in every aspect of hardware design, bring-up/debug of WiMAX CPE reference designs, FPGA and BBIC development boards.

Requirements:

• Must possess strong board-level experience in design and hands-on debug of digital hardware with highly integrated ASIC’s, power management circuitry, voice circuits (SLIC), Ethernet & USB PHYs, memory interface (DDR-2), FPGA board design (not RTL).
• Must possess a BSEE and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Must be proficient in the use of schematic and layout capture tools such as OrCAD and PADS.
• Must be proficient in the use of logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, digital oscilloscopes and signal generators
• Must understand digital wireless transceivers architecture and challenges.
• Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize and bring resolution to all issues in a high-paced environment
• Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills for presentations, application notes, etc.

Prefer:

• WiMAX (802.16e) transceivers experience is a strong plus.
• WLAN (802.11a/b/g/n) transceivers experience.
• Familiar with RF test procedures and equipment.
• Familiar with radio calibration processes and product certification procedures (Regulatory, USB-IF, etc.).
