Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Sr. Software Application Engineer for Windows drivers and DLLs. Must be a demonstrated team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Develop and test the required software code in a high level embedded language such as C or C++
- Work with development teams to define customer collaterals
- Work with customers to modify software to meet their specifications
- Primary technical resource for customer programs
- Assist in testing software and wireless system in-house and at customer locations
- Travel to customer and other development sites
Requirements:
- Very strong experience with development of device drivers for Windows
- 5+ years experience with Windows NDIS driver development
- Experience in networking standards and stacks
- Experience with at least one USB, PCI SDIO driver development in any environment
- Proficient in C/C++ with product development experience
- Experience developing wireless and networking products
- Experience with software development in 802.11, 802.16 or other wireless products
- Adept at using embedded software development tools
- Conduct design/code reviews internally and with customers
- MSEE or MSCS with 8+ years experience or BSEE or BSCS with 10+ years experience
- Experience with writing technical documentation like app notes, user guides
- Able and willing to travel
Prefer:
- Knowledge of 802.16 wireless standard
- System-level knowledge of wireless networking
- Linux experience
- Windows Mobile experience
- Ability to develop test routines in C/C++/Perl/Python or Assembly to debug and test wireless systems
